About Me
I was born and raised in the redwood forests of Northern California and spent some time in Eastern Washington.
As many of my friends went off to college or into a trade, I joined the Marine Corps to see the world and figure out what I wanted to do with my life. At some point in my first enlistment I ended up working with computers and found a passion. I was lucky enough to become a programmer in the Marine Corps for my second enlistment.
After leaving the Marine Corps, I've been fortunate to work as a software developer for financial services, energy, defense, intelligence, infrastructure and software supply chain security. Along the way I was able to earn a B.Sc. in Software Development & Security.
I'm a serial hobbyist; I enjoy home brewing and fermentation, the great outdoors, woodworking and cycling.
